Most companies know the importance of demonstrating environmental and social responsibility, but some organizations have found it challenging to develop, execute and articulate a clearly defined strategy. For organizations to be perceived as more than just “talking the talk”, they need to take a closer look at their business practices and identify what responsibilities are simply the cost of doing business today and what is actually perceived as taking a leadership position in sustainability. By identifying and prioritizing actionable goals, organizations can effectively share what they are doing in the sustainability space and what makes them unique, which can have a direct impact on brand visibility and buyer behavior.
