Recognizing a need for specialized customer service in the public relations industry, Solveig founded The Firm Public Relations and Marketing in 1993. Offering customized PR plans with tailored media outreach, The Firm quickly earned a reputation as a highly creative, trustworthy and professional public relations company that delivers results.
She was recently honored as a "Person of Influence" by leading business publication In Business Las Vegas and was named “Principal of the Year” by Women in Communications. She has been recognized as one of the "Top Businesspeople Under 40" for In Business Las Vegas and Las Vegas Business Press.
Prior to founding The Firm, Solveig managed high profile clients such as Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, Lake Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Invitational golf tournament for the public relations division of R&R Partners. She oversaw three hotel/casino properties as Director of Advertising and Publicity for Sahara Resorts and freelanced as an entertainment writer for LV Magazine.
