Sheraton New Orleans
Operation CPR (City Park Restoration) was created by Keating Magee to engage 800 employees of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide in restoring a New Orleans treasure, Popp’s Fountain in City Park, after it was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Through event planning and public relations efforts, Keating Magee successfully managed the volunteers in painting 2,700 linear feet of fence and landscaping the 70-year-old fountain, all the while managing to capture over one million impressions in media coverage.
