Christine Reimert
Vice President
With 20 years of public relations experience in both corporate and agency environments, Christine has counseled clients and directed communications strategies for organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurial start-ups to community-based non-profits and professional service clients.
An experienced media trainer, Christine has prepared hundreds of clients at all levels for both the best and the worst of times. From new product introductions to organizations in crisis, Christine helps spokespeople know what to say and how, when and where to say it to advance their positions and organizational objectives. Her media training clients have included companies such as Starbucks, Traffic.com, Sunoco, PECO Energy, ACE Insurance and Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals.
Prior to joining Devine + Powers, Christine served as an independent communications and media training consultant working with organizations in sports marketing, high tech, manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, residential and commercial real estate, education and community service. Her writing assignments are as varied as the individual businesses she supports and include annual reports, employee magazines, messaging development, press materials and executive communications.
Previously, Christine spent eight years with Tierney Communications in Philadelphia where she was a vice president. While at Tierney, Christine was responsible for some of the agency’s marquee accounts such as Bell Atlantic and Bell Atlantic Mobile (now Verizon), Advanta, the Devereux Foundation, ARAMARK, Meridian Bancorp, the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and the Pew Charitable Trusts.
For Bell Atlantic, Christine managed the media relations component of the company’s contract with James Earl Jones, helping to reinforce the Bell Atlantic brand during all public appearances by Mr. Jones on behalf of the telecommunications giant. That meant coordinating specialized events around each of his appearances throughout Bell Atlantic’s marketplace, including controlled opportunities for interviews that supported Bell Atlantic platforms and messages.
Christine serves on the Leadership Advisory Council for the American Diabetes Association. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park where she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism in 1988. She now resides in Bucks County, Pa., with her husband and three children.
