Renee Wilson

Managing Director, MSL New York

Renee Wilson is the president of the NE Hub (NY, Boston & PCPR) and managing director of MSL New York. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s flagship office including client service, business development and talent. She is also the global account director for P&G, responsible for the firm’s work across P&G’s diverse portfolio, including the global brand building programs.

With more than 20 years of award-winning experience, Renee specializes in influencer marketing, marketing to women and launching new products. A strong proponent of influencer strategy and real-time engagement, Renee is helping to further the firm’s specialty in this area. The first product launched in this specialty was the Conversation Catalyst Report, an in-depth look at the DNA of WOM conversations. The second product, IMMS&L, the firm’s influencer marketing tool has won two awards for best innovation from the Sabres and PRWeek Awards programs.

Renee’s client experience includes strategy and program development for Kellogg’s, Tiffany & Co., Citibank, PUMA, AHA Go Red! For Women and a variety of P&G brands including the Cannes Lion award-winning program for Always & Tampax, Protecting Futures.

With a passion for international marketing, Renee spent four years based in London managing pan-European programs for Kellogg’s and J&J, sitting on the management team of another international PR consultancy.

She has spoken at several conferences on international communications and marketing to women as well as published on the subject of international marketing, WOM marketing and food/beverage. She is a former board member of PRSA NY and is active in the mentor program of NY Women in Communications.

A proponent of giving back to the community, Renee sits on the Advisory Board for the Young Women’s Leadership Schools of NYC.
