A specialist in cross-border investor relations and financial communications, Kate Delahunty joined Capital in 2008 and has thirteen years’ experience advising clients on various aspects of their international capital markets activities. Kate is now based in Dubai running the firm’s Middle East operation.
Kate started her career in New York where she spent four years advising European blue-chip companies including LVMH, Deutsche Telekom, Diageo, Nestle and ScottishPower.
Since then, Kate has built up extensive experience in reputation management for high profile organisations, advising senior level personnel on financial and corporate communications strategy, crisis and issue management, investor and media relations. Kate has strong transaction experience having worked on 20 IPOs and 15 M&A deals.
Current clients in the Middle East include EmiratesNBD, Commerical Bank of Qatar, Du, TAQA, World Gold Council and Morgan Stanley.
Prior to joining Capital, Kate was a Director at Citigate Dewe Rogerson for ten years, both in the US and UK. A modern languages graduate, Kate speaks Italian, French and Russian.
