Bill Orr
Managing Director, MS&L San Francisco
As managing director of MS&L San Francisco, Bill Orr directs strategic communications activities for clients in digital entertainment and convergence, food & nutrition and public affairs. With a diverse consumer marketing and corporate affairs background, Orr has worked with household brands including Hasbro, LeapFrog Enterprises, eBay, Hewlett-Packard Company, Philips, Midway Home Entertainment, Mattel, Sega of America, General Motors, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Clif Bar, General Mills, U.S. Army, Nike, SideStep, NAMM, the International Music Products Association and Best Buy.
He is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and a past president of the San Francisco Chapter. Orr has earned several awards for his work including the Los Angeles Chapter Prism Award and two San Francisco Chapter Awards, as well the MS&L CEO Award.
A native of Southern California, Orr received his bachelor’s degree
in public relations with a minor in political science from California
State University, Long Beach. He earned his MBA from St. Mary’s College
Graduate School of Business and Economics. If he’s not at work, you’ll
find him with his family, or possibly on the road or in the pool,
putting in mile after mile.
