Lou Capozzi Steps Down From Chairman Emeritus Role at Publicis PRCC
Maintains honorary role as MS&L senior counselor
MS&L, one of the world’s leading global communications firms, today announced that Lou Capozzi has stepped down from his chairman emeritus position with the Publicis Groupe’s Public Relations and Corporate Communications group (PRCC), and will maintain an honorary role as MS&L senior counselor.
In his new role, Capozzi will be involved with numerous industry speaking and education opportunities that support MS&L’s business objectives. He will continue in his position as president of the International Communications Consultants Organisation (ICCO), as well as his role as adjunct professor in New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies Masters Degree program in public relations.

Capozzi joined MS&L in 1990 as creative director. He was named CEO in 1997, and led the firm for seven years. He left MS&L in 2005 to become chairman of parent company Publicis Groupe’s PRCC, a unit that aligns the Groupe’s public relations, public affairs and corporate communications resources. Capozzi was named chairman emeritus for the organization in 2007.
