MS&L Names Jeanine O’Kane North America Director of MS&L Healthcare

New York – MS&L has named Jeanine O’Kane North America Director of MS&L Healthcare, effective February 8, 2010.

In this newly created position, Ms. O’Kane will serve as New York Healthcare Practice Director, managing the healthcare practices in New York and Boston with a focus on regional integration. Working with agency leaders across the North American region on the healthcare business, she is charged with new product and services creation, strategy, integration, talent acquisition and unification of healthcare practices. 

Ms. O’Kane will report to Jim Tsokanos, President of the Americas and Renee Wilson, Managing Director of the New York office.

“We are very enthusiastic about Jeanine joining the North America practice and she will no doubt be a key player in the future of MS&L. I know Renee and Jeanine will be a solid team and will take us to the next level and beyond, I look forward to collaborating with them,” said Jim Tsokanos, President of the Americas.

Formerly an Executive Vice President / Director at Ogilvy she ran the New York healthcare practice, she was Global Account Director on Bayer, managed practices, client and staff relationships, developed new business and drove revenue. 

“Jeanine has led the healthcare accounts for some of the North America’s largest clients with outstanding vision, creativity and passion. She is an exceptional talent and we are thrilled to welcome her to the MS&L family. I look forward to partnering with her in the days ahead,” added Wilson. 

Prior to her tenure at Ogilvy, O’Kane was a healthcare practice senior leader at Burson Marsteller and Edelman and served as Public Relations Manager at Berlex, the US affiliate of Schering AG.
