Peter Steere Joins Manning Selvage & Lee as Head of Public Affairs for MS&L Europe
BRUSSELS 11/07/2006Manning Selvage & Lee (MS&L) today announced it has appointed Peter Steere as head of public affairs for MS&L Europe. His appointment is effective immediately.
Steere, who will be based in Brussels, will work closely with the agency's London, Paris, Frankfurt and Milan offices to develop public affairs services across Europe. He will also counsel MS&L's global clients on public affairs strategies and help both new and existing clients navigate the multifaceted regulatory and communication environment in Brussels.
"Peter has extensive knowledge of a variety of national and international issues impacting the region," said Anders Kempe, president of MS&L Europe. "He also has experience and understanding for communicating complex business issues and market dynamics to a wide range of stakeholders in a broad spectrum of industries including advanced technology, telecom, finance, consumer electronics, energy and heavy industry. His appointment will enhance our value to both current and potential clients."
Steere was most recently director of strategic communications for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for APCO Worldwide. Prior to that, he was with the JKL Group (JKL), the Nordics' leading communication advisor, for several years.

Steere's appointment is the latest in a series of growth announcements for MS&L Europe. Earlier this year, MS&L opened offices in Stockholm and Oslo and aligned JKL into its global structure. Capital MS&L, the agency's financial communications and investor relations arm in London, also expanded its offering this year in that key global financial market.
