It Takes a Surround-Sound Approach to Put Kids in Motion
MS&L was brought on board by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to work with our sister agencies, Frankel and Saatchi & Saatchi, to launch a federal campaign to decrease childhood obesity. The program, VERB™, involved engaging tweens, influencers and opinion leaders through a multitude of marketing efforts, including advertising, Web, promotions, grassroots events and public relations. The program included created a surround strategy to reach children and their influencers at a variety of touch-points at home, in school and in the community. VERB’s focus became getting children physically active to decrease childhood obesity with positive messages to empower children.
