Spotlighting Need for Equal Access to Healthcare

MS&L worked with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the largest philanthropy devoted exclusively to improving the health and healthcare of all Americans, to build awareness of the findings of the Dartmouth Atlas Project. The project, which focuses on the variations of the use of medical care across communities and regions in the U.S.,  showed that the U.S. healthcare is a fragmented system where the treatment patients receive is often driven by a physician’s preference, or the availability of hospital beds, specialists or equipment. As part of our multi-faceted communications strategy, our global healthcare team developed a clear message, crisp materials, and a targeted outreach program focused on key policymakers, influentials, and other partners; identified champions to make the case; and created high-impact channels for communications.
