Using Media to Bring HeartStart Home
When HeartStart Home, a
home defibrillator, received FDA OTC clearance, MS&L was asked to
help create a whole new category of home care technology and sustain
its high profile in the media. MS&L developed a media-genic program
to give the product the cachet of being special, and had it featured in
various exhibits including New York’s Museum of Modern Art exhibit,
“Safe: Design Takes on Risks.” Other elements of this successful
launch included the “In a Heartbeat” reunion event with sudden cardiac
arrest survivors and rescuers.
